Welcome to THE MEMBERSHIP PORTAL FOR Florida After School, INC.
We believe that all children and youth should have high-quality out-of-school time opportunities that inspire them to change the world. To do this, it takes high-quality programs and professionals in our local communities supported by a strong network of advocates across the state. Florida After School provides that support.
As a highly valuable, credible, and visible leader supporting the out-of-school time field at the national and state level, Florida After School hosts regular trainings and webinars for professionals and programs, supports national standards, offers discounted access to innovative tools and resources to enhance programming, and serves as the voice for out-of-school time programs and policies in Florida. We are the only statewide membership organization dedicated to connecting afterschool professionals who share a commitment to high-quality afterschool, before school, holiday, and summer programming to support the academic and personal growth of children and youth.
Florida After School is the Florida Affiliate of the National AfterSchool Association. NAA and its State Affiliates share a mutual purpose and agreement to support, develop, and advocate for Out-of-School Time professionals and the profession. NAA and its State Affiliates build connectivity among stakeholders and create opportunities for engagement to ensure a vibrant future for the Out-of-School Time profession.
For OST professionals who are not paid NAA members and live in Florida, our affiliation and a Membership registration make you eligible for a free NAA membership. If you prefer, NAA membership may be purchased directly from NAA on a sliding scale from $25 to $150.
Florida After School Learning Academy
The Florida After School Learning Academy Collaborative Learning Environment® provides an interactive peer-to-peer learning environment to allow you to communicate, spread ideas, share resources, discuss topics and learn in a safe environment. The Academy allows you to access interactive training, interact with like-minded professionals as you learn together in team-based project, and create your own private networks to give staff access to unique training opportunities.
